Websites should get better every time someone visits.
Mockly is a new kind of website platform: one where every change can be tested, and every result can be trusted. We're in early access, building it with the people who'll use it.
Why we started
Testing a website shouldn't be a project.
Today, testing a change to a website usually means three products that don't know about each other: a site builder or framework, a testing tool that rewrites pages in the browser, and an analytics tag to count what happened. Each adds weight to the page, and the results depend on all three agreeing.
We thought the test belonged in the page itself. If the language a page is written in understands experiments, the compiler can build every variant ahead of time, the server can choose one before the first byte, and the same system can count the outcome and tell you, honestly, what it means.
That's Mockly: build, test, and learn in one place, with nothing bolted on.
What we believe
Principles we build by.
Every page should be able to learn.
Most websites change on opinion, because testing is hard to set up and slow to read. When testing is part of how a page is written, it becomes the normal way to decide.
Fast pages are a feature.
A test shouldn't cost visitors a flash of the wrong page or a heavier download. Doing the work when a site publishes, not while visitors wait, keeps pages fast.
Results should be honest.
Numbers that can be fooled by checking them often aren't numbers to decide on. We hold our statistics to a standard we can explain, test, and defend.
Privacy is a design choice.
Counting visits on the server, keeping no IP addresses, and adding no third-party trackers is simpler for site owners and fairer to visitors.
Built for people and agents.
A language with strict rules and clear errors is easier for a person to learn and safer for an AI agent to write. We design for both.
Small surface, deep quality.
We'd rather do fewer things exactly right, with tests that prove it, than many things almost right.
Careers
Help build it. We're looking for people who care about the details.
We don't have open roles listed yet. If compilers, statistics, fast websites, or developer tools are your thing, we'd like to hear from you anyway.
